Last Friday night I finally got to see JBM (Jesse Marchant) with a band again since his record release show in NYC a couple of years ago. He and his band opened for ∆ (Alt-J), an indie pop band from England. JBM's set was everything I wanted it to be, minus "July on the Sound" being on the set list, playing songs off of his latest album, Stray Ashes.
